| All the VG30DE blocks are the same. The only difference is that in the oil filter tree location instead of plugs there are check valves which you have shown..one of the valves being damaged it seems. You have 30P cylinder heads which is a 90-93 cathedral port NA cylinder head. There is still casting left on the exhaust divider which means the heads were not ported. You essentially (without pulling the heads off) have an NA engine. Your first image shows rust on the counter weights which leads me to believe they left this motor out which in turn should be gone through to ensure no rust is evident in other areas such as the baffle plates and oil squirters. Overall...I'd tear that engine down and have a second hand go through it to check clearances and so forth to ensure what you purchased is of working order or can be fixed for a minor amount of money. Outside of that, it seems you have purchased a used NA engine that someone put together.
